It’s your wedding. One of the most pivotal moments in your life. It’s the beginning of a lifelong marriage journey —  a profound step forward taken among your dearest family and friends. Hey, your wedding is a big deal! It makes all sorts of sense that you would want those dearest to you to be near.

That is to say, yes . . . we get it. You wouldn’t want a stranger up in your personal space during such an intimate moment, where the only thing unique about what they say is your name. We wouldn’t want that either.

On the other hand, your wedding is a big deal. (I know – we just said that. We really mean it!) And it’s with great care that you have chosen your vendors to ensure a professional, meaningful, beautiful, and seamless event. We think that should include your officiant! It is, after all, the core part of your entire day.

What if . . . what if you could have a professional officiant? And what if that someone wasn’t a stranger . . . or even all that strange? Someone who is trained to create and hold ritual space? To speak about the marriage commitment in significant ways? Someone whose career and calling has been telling couples’ stories in consequential ways, setting them off on the marriage adventure with a few more tools in their belts?

We think that’s us! Right here at Central Ceremonies! That’s our business model, but it’s more than that. Because we truly believe in what we do, and how we do it. We are designed to create a partnership and dynamic collaboration between our clients and us so that, in fact, we do know each other. And your story is told in a rich, meaningful – and most of all – personal way.

How do we do that? We take our time, and we spend our time with you.

We bring decades of training and experience with us. We know how to listen to you and  write your story – and it’s an amazing story, by the way! We know because we will listen to what’s important to you about your day. (Do you want everyone to be laughing? Or is your hope that the beauty of the ceremony doesn’t leave a dry eye in the place?) We understand the context we are writing in (a wedding ceremony!) We know how to show up on the wedding day and make you feel comfortable in that ceremony space so that you can actually experience and enjoy marrying each other (and we show up for rehearsal, and know how to run one, too!)

We might start out as strangers, but don’t we all start out as strangers? We won’t be strangers by the time your wedding day arrives. And what a privilege for us. All of us.

“We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in a mutual weirdness and call it love.” ~Dr. Seuss
